Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use the YoCasa website to find and book short-term stays. YoCasa is run by Luis Fortes, sole proprietor, doing business as YoCasa, 6100 Sierra Leon, Austin, TX 78759, USA. By creating an account or making a reservation you agree to them.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a reservation, and the person who books must be staying or responsible for the guests who stay. You sign in with your mobile phone number and a code we send to it. Keep access to your phone secure; you are responsible for reservations made from your account. The details you give us must be accurate.

Reservations and payments

  • The price, fees and taxes are shown before you reserve. The total confirmed when you reserve is what you owe.
  • You can pay in full, pay a deposit of at least 10% of the total, or reserve and pay later. A reservation with no payment holds the dates for 48 hours and is then cancelled automatically.
  • Until 3 days before check-in you can pay in parts, each at least 10% of the balance still due. After that the whole balance is due at once.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe by card, Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you pay in another currency, the amount is converted at the day’s exchange rate.

Cancellations

You can cancel a reservation made on YoCasa from My trips before check-in. Reservations made outside YoCasa (for example on booking.com) can be paid and invoiced here but must be cancelled where they were made.

Your stay

Follow the house rules shown on the listing and leave the property as you found it. The host may refuse or end a stay that breaks the house rules, and you are responsible for damage caused during your stay.

Text messages (SMS)

  • Program: YoCasa booking and payment messages, sent from +1 877 373 0650.
  • You join only by ticking the text message box on the sign-in page. It is optional and not a condition of purchase.
  • Messages are about your booking and payment: booking confirmations, payment reminders, receipts, check-in information and notices of new messages about your reservation. No marketing.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you will get one message confirming it and no more after that. Reply START to join again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call +1-512-577-5242.
  • The one-time sign-in code you ask for is sent separately and is not part of this program.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Hosts are responsible for their properties and listings. YoCasa provides the booking service as is and, to the extent the law allows, is not liable for indirect losses or for more than the amount you paid for the reservation concerned.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in force when you reserve applies to that reservation.
